Finance Manager

To help drive our continued growth and success we are looking for a Finance Manager to join the team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to influence and shape our finance function. You will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and take ownership and costs control and reporting across the business. 

You will report monthly to the board so experience of KPI and variance analysis and P&L / balance sheet commentaries is essential along with timely completion of relevant balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis, including movement analysis and working with the business to clear unreconciled items. 

You will take a Proactive management approach of external and internal audit requests and manage the external Accountant relationship, and be responsible for HMRC reporting and supervising Video Games Tax Relief and R & D tax credit applications.

We are looking for someone that can Identify areas of process improvement or efficiency and propose and implement changes and then support the implementation, standardisation, and improvement of these new and existing processes and systems. If you have experience of overseeing monthly/quarterly royalty reporting it would be excellent.

Ideally, you will have proven experience in a similar organisation and experience of working with data analysis, Free 2 Play video games, E-commerce or SAS would be a strong advantage. You will be able to build robust financial models to provide analytics and have experience of financial software packages and intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.

If you are a disciplined self-starter, able to multitask, work independently with strong attention to detail and accountability for your own work and also have excellent oral and written communication skills along with the ability to think outside of the box. And you also have the skills and experience as above and a willingness to challenge existing processes to drive efficiency we would love to hear from you.
